BRANDING, BEHAVIOUR AND BOTS

Henry Davies, Founder, 106 Communications - See my presentation
The world of branding has changed.  No longer is it simply a question of advertise and job done.  People are influenced by a range of different experiences and information, on social media, in person, through friends, recommendations and beyond.  In a marketplace like Retail and Hospitality, your brand is everything; but are you using it in the right way to improve attraction and reduce attrition?

  • Branding – and how you can make your brand work harder to attract and retain the right people
  • Behaviours – and how your behaviour online and on social media could be the difference between success and failure.
  • Bots – land why chatbots can actually make you a more engaging employer.

Henry is the Founder of 106 Communications, which focuses on employee engagement and employer branding.   He has worked in a wide range of industries, including retail, hospitality, financial services, tech and professional services, and has spoken at events and run workshops in London, Amsterdam, Glasgow, Geneva, Zurich and Dubai.  He has a particular passion for storytelling.

  • How retailers differentiate their brand experience through hiring the right people
  • Going beyond hiring for attitude: an objective, data-led approach

Before joining Chemistry, Nicky worked in various Retail and HR Leadership roles, where she became curious about how hiring the ‘right’ people could improve store performance. She first partnered with Chemistry as the HR Lead on a large-scale Retail Transformation Programme, which used a unique method of predicting performance that had never existed before. Nicky now heads up Chemistry’s Retail & Hospitality team, where she’s enabled brands like House of Fraser, Boots Opticians, Pizza Hut and Co-op select the right people for them: the people who will bring their unique brand experience to life. And when she’s not at work? Her love of all things retail and food continues, and she’s busy training her new puppy, Brewster!
